Aug 11, 2015 I'm trying to download After Effects CC 2015 from Creative Cloud but everytime I try the download gets up to about 45% and it just says installation failed. When I click more information in shows me this: Exit Code: 15 Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW051. Adobe After Effects CC 2015 is a must-have release that helps make you more productive. Searchable timelines and projects, expanded 3D compositing options, included Mocha for Adobe After Effects CC 2015 software, and numerous enhancements streamline almost everything you do. What's new and changed in the After Effects CC 2015 (13.7) update Maxon CINEWARE 3.0. Renderer limitations have been removed: Physical, Hardware, and Sketch and Toon renderers now render. Preference to auto-save when starting the render queue.
Upgrading to After Effects CC 2015.3 automatically uninstalls previous versions of After Effects. However, Preferences and settings from previous versions are migrated when updating to After Effects CC 2015.3.
You can choose to retain older versions of After Effects. To do so, follow the steps below:
- In Creative Cloud desktop application, click Update next to After Effects CC 2015.3.
- On the You're updating to After Effects CC (2015.3) dialog, select Advanced Options.
- Disable Remove Old Versions setting.

Adobe’s single user license allows installation of a single product license on two machines (such as one work machine and one home machine) provided the software is used by the same individual and not concurrently on both machines.
Note: If you want to install the product on a third computer, you must first deactivate the software on one computer. To deactivate, choose Help > Deactivate.
Adobe Product installers install fonts into a default system font directory. If the installer finds older versions of these fonts in the default system font directory, it will uninstall the older versions, and save them to a new directory.
